Automatically fix and complete your MP3 tags.

Magic MP3 Tagger
$19.9 - Mathias Kunter

Magic MP3 Tagger is more than a normal ID3 tag editor. It has been specially designed to automatically identify and sort music collections, which is a different approach than other tagging applications use. The program uses a high sophisticated music identification algorithm to repair, edit, tag, rename and organize your MP3 files.

The powerful dynamic identification algorithm combines available song data with an internal music database under consideration of different naming patterns and similarities, various artist albums, compilation discs, known common misspellings and much more.

You can batch-edit all common ID3 tag fields like artist, album, title, release year, track number and so on.

Beside the internal music database, Magic MP3 Tagger also supports the online databases freedb and MusicBrainz in order to download missing album information.

With Magic MP3 Tagger you can easily organize thousands of music files on your hard disk. You just have to define how you would like to name your files (for example "Artist - Album - Track number - Title") and how your folder structure should look like (for example "Artist Album").

There is an extra mode for various artist albums, and Magic MP3 Tagger also handles duplicate files. Further, you can use sort-able artist names like "Offspring, The" and "Joplin, Janis". Case, bracket, space and track number formatting as well as text replacing is also supported. Beside that, Magic MP3 Tagger is easy to use and assists you editing your files as good as possible with its intuitive user interface.

In short, it's the tool you need to finally bring your music collection in order!

Automatically look up the tracks incollection

MusicBrainz Tagger
$0 - MusicBrainz

The MusicBrainz Tagger application allows you to automatically look up the tracks in your music collection and then write clean metadata tags (ID3 tags or Vorbis comment fields) to your files. As you tag the files in your collection that MusicBrainz didn't recognize, you submit the acoustic fingerprints (TRM ids) of your files back to the server. Submitting acoustic fingerprints will allow MusicBrainz to automatically identify these tracks in the future, so that other people using the Tagger can benefit from the work you have done.
As the community uses the Tagger application, more and more files will be automatically recognized. However, as we are just starting to collect the acoustic fingerprints, fewer files will be initially recognized. So, please download the Tagger and run your music collection through it so we can start collecting more acoustic fingerprints. You may also want to take a look at our statistics page to see how many TRM ids we've been collecting recently.
