Crazy Basketball
$12.5 - Absolutist.com
Crazy Basketball is a simple but very entertaining arcade-style game, with some puzzle elements. It does not require fast reaction and is suitable for all ages. Both installer and uninstaller are supplied. You can take part in the online tournament and win awards and prizes.
The goal is to remove all the balls from the board - they disappear if three ones of the same color come together. The game starts with the field half-filled with colorful basketballs. You can pick one of them and throw it up in the air. To do this, click on the point in the air that will be the highest spot in basketball's flight. If it lands next to balls of same color, they will disappear, and you add points to your score. If not, a few balls will drop from the row under the ceiling, and they really like to stack in piles. You can also throw the ball downwards, but this
would give you far less points then an upward throw. The flying ball can reflect from the walls, and bounce off the floor, as you would expect it to do. At the Expert and Master levels more balls will drop after every unsuccessful move. The Master mode is for real Masters, and you will need some training beforehand. You can submit your best results to the web-site where they are entered in the best scores table displayed online.

PoolScore

PoolScore makes running a NCAA Basketball Tournament pool easy. The Pool Coordinator uses a graphic display to enter the names of the 64 Teams, make any desired modifications to titles, add instructional notes, and select the point values for each flight of the tournament.
This setup goes very quickly. But, as an alternative, the author will make a configuration file (POOLSTART.PSS) for the NCAA Basketball tournament available at when the team selections and seed positions are announced. Then, the Pool Coordinator will only need to enter any optional notes or make changes to the point values awarded for correct selections by flight.
All team selection and the recording of results are done through either a "drag & drop" or "point & click" interface. Pool selection forms and progress reports can be printed out at any time. The tournament format screen can be used to show player progress and "what if results" as the tournament progresses.
A "drag and drop" display and report format can be used to create a large number of display and report formats to monitor and report progress on the tournament results. Also, a greatly enhanced reporting function has been added in Release 4.0 to track or predict results. The user can select from seven formatted printouts. The reports can be printed, save to a file or Emailed. A Player Information Data Base can be used to Email or distribute reports and information to pool participants.
