Project Pacer
$19.99 - DocuMaker Communication Solutions
There isn't a single one of us who was born knowing how to master the art of time management. Project Pacer was developed to help those of us who have difficulty figuring out what needs to be done and when it needs to be completed.
Unlike other project management software, Project Pacer focuses the most important concept of time management, and that's 'pacing.' Pacing is the act of doing work in non-stressful amounts - yet meaningful enough that goals can be accomplished and projects can be completed.
If you're a freelancer, contractor, or anyone who is faced with juggling multiple projects and deadlines, Project Pacer is for you. Project Pacer will divide a large project into a sensible daily work schedule that you can follow on the computer or print out and carry with you whereever you go.
With Project Pacer, you never need to worry or stress-out over what needs to be done, what hasn't been done, or what could be done. Project Pacer takes care of all of that for you so you can concentrate on your actual work, rather than things like time.

Diff Commander
$29 - Nikeware
I've been using a large number of file synchronization tools. From the very
first DOS command-line utilities to powerful plug-ins in modern file shells,
such as FAR or TotalCommander. They all are based on the same simple
principle. You give them two folders to compare and they return to you a
list of files that differ. The modern tools have a better interface. They
allow you to visually select folders on file panels and highlight
differences visually. Normally, they also allow you to select a few options
to tune-up the comparison. Usually, options are just file attributes to
compare. That's all that they can do for you. And I was thinking,
erroneously, that it's a perfect solution and that there is nothing more
that could be done. Then I learned about Diff Commander...
Diff Commander brings a brand new level of flexibility and usability into
folder comparison and file synchronization. How is it different from all I
have seen before? At first, it introduces its own, very specialized
interface. Files and folders are shown on two panes as a tree. The program
supports compressed archives that are shown as normal folders. File
comparison was never so visually attractive before. You can also compare
folders recursively. Differences are colorfully highlighted on both panes.
The program allows you to tune-up the comparison by providing numerous
settings. You can filter files by masks, skip hidden and system files, turn
on and off recursion, and much more...
But the main enhancement is the ability to define synchronization rules.
The program alerts you of each file that differs and that needs to be copied
or moved according to the rules. You can synchronize all files at once or
one by one.
All settings are stored in Profiles. You can have different settings for
different projects. The program also can be used for batch comparisons. It
reads folder names from a text file and does comparison/synchronization
automatically.

ActionOutline
$39.95 - Green Parrots Software
Search Google for "Organizer" and you will get over six million leads. Try shopping for personal information manager (PIM) online and you will have over eight hundred titles to choose from. This software niche is very, very hot. Yet, strangely enough, a recent survey shows that after using organizers and PIMs for over 6 months, 50% people abandoned them. And only 15% said that the software really helped them become more efficient. See the problem?
We'll be honest with you. ActionOutline IS NOT for everyone. Yes, ActionOutline is "the best and most useful of the 2 pane outliners" (Duncan MacDonnald), and yes, editors go crazy over it (just read ZDNET, Sunday Times, DirtSmart and BetaBytes). It is also true that the program costs almost forty bucks, while there are hundreds of lookalikes priced 14. 95 USD or even less. But with 95% of ActionOutline buyers using the program every day and almost 100% satisfaction rate, we are not afraid to compete. There is not a single major organizer and PIM review source (that's the ones with at least 1000 visitors a day) that does not have ActionOutline listed. John Buckman has been reviewing organizers since 1994; is the oldest Net organizer/note taker/PIM review resource on the Net. After trying hundreds of titles, the reviewers found no reason to change opinion about ActionOutline: "Action Outline has most elegant GUI (RISC rather than CISC), low RAM use (

While Santa was busy with his Christmas duties, there was a very strong snowstorm in his magic land. The storm was so strong that it reached into the deepest caves and spread crystals of magic ice from those caves over the entire Lapland. Huge amounts of colored ice started growing in most inappropriate places and interfered with the normal life of Lapland inhabitants. But Santa never gives up! This had happened quite a few times in the past but all the people in Lapland know the properties of this snow. If you put three or more ice blocks of one color together, the excess of magic tension will make them blow up. That's the way they coped with the disaster before. And Santa decided to use this good old method this time as well. No deer are needed for this sleigh, it flies using the energy of that very magic ice! Help Santa! It will be difficult for him to do away with all those ice blocks alone. Moreover, the supply of magic ice in the sleigh is limited. It is still an experimental model and there is a lot to be done yet. You will need to be very clever to deal with it. But you'll make a perfect team, together with Santa! Well, the sleigh is fueled and ready to fly and Santa waits for you only. Good luck!
