Calculates when various holidays occur in any given year BC
or AD. Designed to be cannibalised to include the
calculation routines in your own programs.
It currently calculates about 50 holidays including the following:

If a holiday was not celebrated in a given year, it will not
show.

Includes complete Java source code to calculate when the
holiday occurs in a given year, when it was first
celebrated, when first proclaimed, the rule for how it is
calculated in words and an authority to go to for more
information.

Also calculates the nearest weekday to any given holiday,
when you actually get the day off. This is what I refer to
by the term "shifted". Boxing day has special shift
handling.

Shareware that may be freely distributed and used for
any purpose except military.

In the source are methods that can also be used to calculate
how many business days were between given dates. It is quite
easy to specify which days you want considered as holidays
using methods like addHoliday where you specify the date or
the name of the Holiday, addAmericanFederalHolidays and
addWeekDaysAsHolidays.

The main holiday still missing is Chinese New Year.

prying eyes or those who would tamper with them.

It Encrypts, digitally signs and armours to send sensitive
information over the Internet without SSL.

Typically you would embed it in your own Internet
applications.

Untouch

This explains how it works and some of its uses.

Untouch supports the following command line switches which appear
before the directories.
-f or -force = revert files back to previous dates whether they have changed or not.
-s or -sub or -subdir or -subdirs = process files in subdirectories as well.
-l or -log = create untouch.log files in each directory logging what was done.
-q or -quiet = suppress progress messages.

Wassup

Wassup let's you know what's up with your Java environment.
It will tell you the System Properties, as many as the
Security system will let you peek at. This includes such
things as which JVM is running, which version of Java, which
vendor. It may be run as either an Applet or an application.
When you run Wassup as an application it shows you
considerably more information. The Java sandbox considers it
a security risk to reveal that information to an Applet. As
an application, you can see all the possible System
Properties. When you run as an unsigned Applet, your view is
much more limited. If you OK the Java sandbox security override, it will
let you view the restricted properties.

Entities

Consists of a pair of utilities that let you
convert/strip/insert HTML entities such as _amp;- and _quot;
from files converting them back and forth to their
equivalent single characters !amp; and !quot;. It handles the HTML 4
entities such as _hearts; as well as decimal _#123; and
hexadecimal _x#123; entities.

You may us this package as standalone
utilities, or use the classes in your own programs
to insert or strip entities from HTML.

You can use them like this:

REM to remove & entities and HTMLtags from a file
REM converting entities back to characters
strip.jar afile.html

REM to convert entities in a file
insert.jar afile.html

They come complete with Java source and jar files.

Pentium
$10 - Canadian Mind Products

Pentium works on Windows and Intel Pentium class and AMD
CPUs to determine the CPUID information such as the vendor,
brand/model, step, model, instruction set family, cpu serial
number, and the RDTSC Time stamp register for high
resolution timing measured in CPU cycles since the last
boot. It is designed to be incorporated in your own Java
progams.

You can also use it as a standalone utility with:

java.exe -jar pentium.jar

The nativepentium.dll must be on the path, e.g. in the
current directory. In JDK 1.5, the DLL can be in the jar so
long as it has no package path.
