Hard Disk Sentinel

Hard Disk Sentinel monitors hard disk status, health and performance including temperature and S.M.A.R.T. (Self-Monitoring, Analysis and Reporting Technology, built in most hard disks today) values for each hard disks. It uses a revolutionary new concept to evaluate hard disk information which is able to better predict possible disk failures (more information: www.hdsentinel.com/smart ). Also it measures the hard disk transfer speed in real time which can be used as a benchmark or to detect possible hard disk failures, performance degradations.
By using Hard Disk Sentinel it is possible to prevent serious damage or data loss. It warns the user before a problem and this gives opportunity to backup important and valuable data. The status can be verified from a remote browser (even by using a mobile phone or PDA).
The Professional version has options to backup data periodically or when a problem is found. It is even possible to backup to remote server by sending files via FTP or e-mail.
