In addition to thoroughly erasing all drive contents, DriveScrubber can now also wipe only the free space of a drive, to delete the remnants of deleted files. With this process, existing files, programs, and the operating system are all left in intact, but any deleted files are unrecoverable. In addition to preparing a computer for sale or donation, this feature allows DriveScrubber to be used for regular security maintenance.

Many people believe that when they delete a file, it is permanently erased. It is not. In actuality, the data within the file still remains on the drive, and evidence that the file existed still remains on the drive. This is because of how an operating system saves and deletes files. When a file is deleted, its reference is removed from the file allocation table, but the data that made up the file still remains on the drive. The space occupied by that data is marked as "free space" and is available for overwriting by other newly saved files. Until another file's data is saved over it, the deleted data remains on the drive. Even formatting a drive does not erase data: formatting erases file allocation information and performs other housekeeping functions for data storage, but formatting does NOT erase data.

Many people donate or give away their computer, not even realizing that their private information is easily recoverable. Artificial Neural Networks are computational paradigms which implement simplified models of their biological counterparts, biological neural networks. Biological Neural Networks are the local assemblages of neurons and their dendrite connections that form the brain. The implementation of Neural Networks for brain-like computations like patterns recognition, decisions making, motory control and many others is made possible by the advent of large scale computers in the late 1950's. Conventional computers rely on programs that solve a problem using a pre-determined series of steps, called algorithms. These programs are controlled by a single, complex central processing unit, and store information at specific locations in memory. Artificial Neural Networks use highly distributed representations and transformations that operate in parallel, have distributed control through many highly interconnected neurons, and store their information in variable strength connections called synapses – just like a human brain. To train a neural network you must have a data set containing sample parameters which corresponding to the results. The data used for training is usually obtained using historical data in which the outcomes are known. You can also train a neural network by creating sample problems and answers. Once the training process is completed, the neural network will be able to predict answers when new inputs are processed.

SignaPoint is optimized to work with Electromyography (EMG) signals, but may also be used with other biological signals such as ECG and EEG. Unlike most other EMG applications which operate with proprietary file formats, SignaPoint 2006 works with the widely exported .CSV and standard ASCII files. Such files could contain multiple signals with practically no limit in their time frame.
SignaPoint 2006 is designed for people working in the areas of electromyography and bio-signals research, university students practicing with bio-signals, athletics medical professionals and ergonomics professionals.

The specifications for a signal to be properly analyzed by SignaPoint 2006 are the following: Range from 1 mv to 10 V; Scan frequency from 50 Hz to 500 Hz. The user should manually enter brief header information in the top three lines of each signal so that SignaPoint 2006 could read the signal file.

One of the most useful features of SignaPoint 2006 is signal analysis with two cursors. Two-cursor analysis allows for intuitive signal browsing and defines flexible intervals for signal processing. SignaPoint 2006 supports more than 8 key processing functions such as Min, Max, Mean, Area, Power Spectrum, and Pathway Function. The signal processing analysis occurs over a period of time defined by two cursors over any part of the signal. The processing function can accommodate up to 1,024 samples which equates to one work window; if the scan frequency is 200Hz, then the longest period of analysis is 5.12 seconds.

The screensaver shows the same 3D models of biological molecules in dynamics. Your screen will look like screens of computers in science fiction films!
For both programs you may choose any one from six total available molecule models and change axis of rotation.

Six molecules are available in the current version: four prototypes of DNA (Deoxyribonucleis Acid - storage of genetics information) and two proteins - Hemoglobine I Monomeric (Oxygen transport protein) and Cytochrome C 550 (this protein has wide range of functions). In further versions we plan to add some new molecule models.

Note: only 2 models are available in unregistered version - DNA in B-conformation and Hemoglobine, other models available only in the registered version.
Models of protein molecules are represented only by the main polypepthide chain (-OCCN-); sidechains of aminoacid residues are not presented because they make the molecule look like a "heap of atoms". Hydrogen atoms are not presented too due to their small size in comparision to other atoms.
