Rooney has lost the plot! Zidbutt away!

Rooney on the Rampage
$0 - 2DPlay.com

In this insanely funny game brought to you by 2DPlay.com - Wayne Rooney or "Wazza", as he is now known after his infamous crotch-stomping, red-card weilding incident at the FIFA World Cup 2006, has totally lost the plot. But just when you thought there was no way for our friend Rooney to get back at his ManU comrade-in-studs, Portugal's Christiano Ronaldo (who apparently instigated the Argentinian referee to show our favourite Liverpudlian the red card), French football great Zinedine Zidane gives him some inspiration. Rooney dreams of what could of happened in the World Cup in this hilarious outbreak of rampaging headbutting - "Zidane" style! Help Rooney get his sweet revenge on Ronaldo by Zidbutting his way to the ultimate goal, taking no prisoners friend or foe! Help Wayne Rooney "Zidbutt" his way to glory... something he could not achieve on the soccer fields of Germany. Making rare guest appearances are former England captain, David Beckham, injured Micheal Owen (that too, in crutches) and the elusive Svend Goran Eriksson.Left click or press spacebar to headbutt players out of Rooneys way. Time the headbutts well to gain speed. Left click or press spacebar to jump over the wall and headbutt Ronaldo into the goal!!!!

Game to make words to a given acronym.

Acrony
$0 - Dreamsage Games

Think you're good with words? Are you ready for some non-standard fun? Acrony lets you compete online against other players to make the funniest phrase to a random acronym. Once everyone in the game-room has written their phrase, you then read and vote on the other players' phrases to see whose phrase is the funniest. It takes real wit and guile to become the Acrony champ, not to mention a sharp and sometimes devious sense of humor. The game is broken out into three-minute rounds and at the beginning of each round you're given a random acronym from three to seven letters long. For example you might be given the acronym: K.B.S.S.M. From this you could write something like "Kate Beckinsale Swings Swords Masterfully". Once everyone in the game-room has written their phrases, you're presented with all the phrases except yours in a list. It might looks something like this: Keep Basting Steak... Smells Mouthwatering, Kicking Butt Strains Sore Muscles, Key Board Sopping! Spilled Milk, Kazoo Blasting Soulful Song Melodically. You then read through the list and vote on your favorite one. When everyone is done voting, the votes are counted up and the player who gets the most votes wins that round. From there, the winner gets points for winning and the next round begins with a new acronym. Acrony also has some other community-building features that you may want to check including an integrated forum, message system, game statistics, optional obscene word filter, custom player-profile page, clans and groups page. So the question becomes: How funny are you?

Power Pong X-gameplay first.

Power Pong X
$7.5 - Kemlor Enterprises

Power Pong X. It started as a cheap 4-color pong clone with one mode, and your paddles acted funny when you pressed the directions. Now, there are 43 modes, a one player game, practice modes, secrets, cheats and a hidden mode. With Hi-q 3D rendered graphics to round it out, power pong is a game that I hope you'll find worth the download. The fast paced action varies from extremely easy, such as the oversized DK mode, to the extremely difficult "psychotic multiball mode", in which hundreds of balls occupy the screen at once. There's something for everonye. The controlls are easy to learn, with only 3 keys per player. Don't let that make you think there isn't much variety, what with the simplicity and all. With so many different ways to play, PPX won't get stale. I won't bother you with my rantings much longer, but let me say that PPX is worth a download not only because it's a good game, but because it's not a big-budget, $60, ripoff of a hardrive gobbling monster that some media giant decides to dupe gamers into buying. It's a game made by a real person, with real games in mind.

Graphical RPG: Can you shutdown Cerberus?

The Cerberus Incident
$12 - SB-Software

The Cerberus Incident is not affiliated with the television series"LOST". Any similarity is purely unintentional. That being said, ... you have joined a mysterious organization that promised you an exciting research project on a mysterious tropical island. You've been assigned a research station, manned by a two person team. Something has gone horribly wrong. Your partner is dead, and The Cerberus Experiment needs to be shut down... The Cerberus Incident features realistic 3D graphics and a full-fledged role playing game engine. This game does require a modern 3D graphics card, and that your computer support DirectX version 9.0 or better. The Cerberus Incident is a fairly short role playing game; An experienced player may complete the game in as little as a few hours. Less experienced players may take considerably longer. The Cerberus Incident recreates the look and feel of classic first person turn-based role playing games.
