The goal is simple. Destroy all of the bricks in each level to proceed to the next level. Acky's XP Breakout is quite different than most games in the ball and paddle genre, instead of having a set number of balls, you have two resources which are needed to create a ball, and this resource is called ether. Ether comes in two colors red and blue, both of which are needed to form a ball. While playing you will see each kind of ether drop and if you catch it with your space pad your ether tanks will fill up, allowing you to create more balls.

The game also features several bonuses for doing different things. Gaining bonuses is optional but you are encouraged to do so because they are needed to unlock XP mode, a special mode where you get super powers. After you complete a level you get a bronze, silver, or gold trophy. There is also a ranking system which is based on how many trophies you have collected and how many bonuses you have obtained. While you play statistics are saved for each level which can be logged online so you can see your performance as compared to other players.

Bubble Splash is not your ordinary puzzle. In fact, it'?s an action game masking as a puzzle. If you are a puzzle junky looking for a challenge, you simply can't pass on this game. The rules are quite simple. There are five columns consisting of bubbles of various colors. You can move them up or down to line up three or more bubbles of the same color in the center row. When this happens, the bubbles pop. Sound simple, doesn't it? Well, rest assured, it's not. New bubbles keep on being added to the top and bottom of each column. So pretty soon your ability to rotate them gets hindered. That's why you have to be very fast at thinking and acting. Once you have popped required amount of bubbles (measured by the Bubble Meter), you move on to the next level. Oh, and there is a time limit for each level. If you can?t do it in time, you fail and have to start over. To assist you, there are a number of bonuses, like radial bomb (destroys all bubbles adjacent to it) or time freeze. These and other bonuses can be activated by pressing Enter when they are in the center row.
The games with three difficulty modes, so you can pick the one that matches your abilities. But even at the easiest difficulty settings the game gets quite perplexing after the first levels. Another thing worth mentioning is good music and nice sounds. The graphics is clean and simple. There are no extraneous elements to overwhelm or distract you.

What did your mom do when you got sick being a kid? Most probably the first thing she did was giving you a thermometer to check your body heat. If you are trying to access a remote computer and are not getting a response, chances are that computer is not functioning properly. In other words, it might be sick. There is a free tool called ping.exe that comes with most versions of Windows. You can use this tool to poke the remote PC and check its response. To use ping.exe, you would typically invoke a command line, which would open a black console window, and type ping.exe followed with IP address of the computer you want to check. Usually you would get a response right in the console window in a matter of seconds. You would judge - or, rather, guess, - the remote computer's health by the cryptic numbers printed as decimal integers. If the remote computer is not available, or if the network is not available, or if some link or a piece of hardware in between you and the remote PC has failed, you'll get nothing. It is up to you to guess what and where have failed.
