Each backup disk contains files that are new or changed since the last backup, plus a part of the original, full backup. Your original backup is automatically refreshed every couple of weeks or months. You never need to go through a marathon backup session again.

This one disk backup method makes the backup process very safe: Because you have multiple copies of your data, you can restore your files even if some of the disks are damaged. There is also no chance of accidentally deleting or overwriting your backup disks.
