RenameWand

Ever wished there was an easy way to rename files or directories quickly without having to struggle with clunky graphical interfaces? RenameWand can help you with that!
RenameWand is a simple command-line utility for renaming files or directories using an intuitive but powerful syntax (like regex, only much easier).
Perform string operations (e.g. case conversions, rearrangements of substrings), arithmetic operations (e.g. on the numbers in the filename), enumerate files (e.g. by name, size, time, or other attributes), insert timestamps, and many more file and system attributes with ease!
RenameWand supports pattern matching using glob patterns and wildcards *, ?, [ ], and { }, as well as a special register capture group construct.
Runs on any OS with the Java Runtime Environment (JRE 6+). RenameWand is free and open source software written in Java and released under the GNU GPL license (version 3).

MAIN FEATURES:

Of course it's not only designed for the usage of small children, because, as you probably know, coloring images is a very relaxing activity. Maybe next time, after a long day of fighting with nasty operating system, instead of throwing your computer out of a window or chasing your pets with dangerous tools, just sit and relax with Kolorowanka program :). Of course if you're a computer user which has kids, go ahead and show them this program - coloring images is a very pleasant, non-violent entertainment for kids in various age. Please, read the entire help file carefully. This will allow you to discover all of the possibilities and features of my program. Web Bubba

The Worldwide Web has changed rapidly since its humble beginnings. From a tool of communication and information, it has become the preferred tool of vendors trying to outscream each other and attract your attention by displaying annoying, flashing and shaking, ads on almost every web page there is. Luckily, you can protect yourself and filter out all contents of any ad server (or any other web server) you want in two simple steps. First, add them all to the hosts file on your computer, redirecting them to 127.0.0.1 (or you can just download our hosts file if this seems too complicated). Second, install Web Bubba, the powerful yet small and fast server that runs on your own computer (and is only seen by your computer) and gives your web browser a tiny invisible image instead of all those ads or other unwanted contents. The server is fully configurable. You can turn it on or off any time you want. It is written in assembly language (source code included, too), so it is one lean and mean Bubba! Of course, you can use it to filter out any web server, not just the ad servers. If you are a public library required by law to filter out sleezy and hateful sites, Web Bubba can handle those. And you do not even have to pay a monthly fee for some outsider to do it for you and slow down your Internet access in the process. With Web Bubba your access is sped up considerably: No time is wasted downloading ads or any other filtered-out contents. No time is wasted by the browser trying to access a non-existent web server if you just edit your hosts file but have no server in place. Web Bubba is freedom. Freedom from unwanted advertising. Freedom from unwanted contents. And freedom to choose what you want to filter out yourself and without a monthly fee as opposed to paying someone else to decide what may or may not appear on your own computer (do you really want to give that much control over yourself to someone else?).
