TimeCompanion Desktop Edition consists of a Microsoft Windows desktop client and a Palm OS client. There is also an optional report tool available free (requires Microsoft Access 2000 or later). Using TimeCompanion Desktop Edition, you can report time by project, time category, and cost category. You can also enter a description of each time entry and specify an invoice date.
There are several views in the system. Time entries can be made in a week view or day view. With the category manager, you can add customers, and manage time- and cost categories. There are several reports available for data analysis and export. For example, you can view time by customer, project or time category. It is possible to export time data in order to aggregate it in a central location (such as an Excel spreadsheet or central database). You can also extract data for invoicing.
